From Caring for Humans to Caring for Horses
For more than a decade, my passion has been helping people take a proactive role in their health through thermography. One of the greatest privileges of my work has been helping individuals gain insight into their bodies, identify areas of stress and imbalance, and make informed decisions about their wellness journey.
Today, I am excited to share something very close to my heart.
Lisa’s Thermography & Wellness is preparing to expand into Equine Thermography Services.
This new chapter is more than a business expansion—it’s the natural blending of two lifelong passions: helping others live healthier lives and caring for horses.
A Love of Horses That Started Long Ago
Anyone who knows me knows that horses have always held a special place in my daughter’s heart. Their strength, intelligence, sensitivity, and ability to connect with us on a deeper level have always inspired me.
As I have spent years educating clients about the value of thermography for people, I began to see the incredible benefits this technology could offer the equine community as well.
Just like humans, horses often show subtle signs of stress, inflammation, injury, or imbalance long before obvious symptoms appear. Thermography allows us to visualize those patterns and gain valuable information that can support overall wellness and performance.
Why Equine Thermography?
Thermography is a safe, non-invasive imaging technology that measures heat patterns emitted from the body. It does not use radiation, sedation, injections, or physical contact.
For horse owners, trainers, bodyworkers, saddle fitters, and veterinarians, thermal imaging can provide valuable insight into areas that may need further attention.
Equine thermography can help monitor:
– Performance and training-related stress
– Areas of inflammation and circulation changes
– Saddle fit concerns
– Muscular compensation patterns
– Rehabilitation progress
– Whole-body wellness monitoring
– Baseline imaging for future comparison
Our goal is not to diagnose disease or replace veterinary care. Rather, we aim to provide another layer of information that can support informed decisions and proactive care.
The Same Philosophy, A Different Patient
What excites me most about this expansion is that the philosophy remains exactly the same.
At Lisa’s Thermography & Wellness, we believe that awareness creates opportunity.
Whether we are working with a woman concerned about her breast health, someone seeking answers about chronic inflammation, or a horse owner wanting to optimize their horse’s performance and well-being, our mission remains unchanged:
To help identify patterns early, support prevention, and empower informed wellness decisions.
